Hi all how are you? Here is your weekly newsletter to keep you up to date with everything that is happening in the studio.

Good morning to you all, so sorry that this week’s newsletter is late and last week there was none at all. I just don’t seem to have been able to sit down and write – last week just disappeared so fast I hardly noticed and this week has been super busy coupled with my internet going down and having some staffing problems – anyway all is ok again now so here I am!

Right what have I been up to since I last wrote? Well I recently became a Utility Warehouse distributor, it’s a very exciting company to be a part of and as you can do as much or as little work with the company as you choose that suits me fine. Not only can you build yourself a nice residual income, there are lots of bonuses and prizes for working with them – the one I have got my eye on is the 6* All Expenses Luxury Cruise – so now “I can save pounds in your purse whilst shifting the pounds from your body” If you would like to know more about this company yourself and are looking for an extra opportunity for an income stream check out this short video and then get in touch with me.

My KSFL gang are doing absolutely amazing 5 of my ladies have lost 27 lbs of fat and 22 inches in 7 days!!! One of my ladies’ husband, who is supporting her and doing it with her has lost 13 lbs in 7 days – totally totally awesome. This program does exactly what it says on the tin Kick Start Fat Loss in 14 days. I have just opened the bookings again for the next one which starts on June 11th so if you want to be a part of the next gang all you have to do is click here and sign yourself up!

All the ladies that started my 1,000 pound fat loss challenge are doing amazing also, we trained outside last night which was lovely to have the sun on you with a lovely breeze whilst working out.
I have had a few people drop out along the way, which is something I have never understood and guess I never will. “Why sign up for something and then not see it through till the end?” I have learnt that this is what happens when you work with the general public, especially when it is something to do with fat loss. People seem to think that by signing up and turning up a couple of times they are going to get the results that they hear other people get – NO – you have to train as hard as you possibly can and you have to make changes with your lifestyle. Then the next thing you know, attending classes 3 times a week and eating a much healthier, cleaner diet means that low and behold you are now looking and feeling like you have always wanted and this way of life just becomes your way of life!

Listen to what one of my Peak Physique fitness and Fatloss group had to say about her journey so far! “Just a little about me I started bootcamp in November and I’m now a member of break and spin. I started at 10.10 and now I’m staying at 9.7 that’s a total of 17 pound lost. Dropped from size 12 trousers to size 8 and size 8 top to size 6. I only want to encourage you girls we all want to get to a size were we feel good within ourselves and feel like sexy ladies and we all have our personal long time goals. You can achieve great results too”
Class of the Week.
This week I would like to write about a few classes that are happening in the studio and also I want to stress that if classes are poorly attended they will be removed from the timetable so if there is a class that you really want to start or you really like and would hate to see it go, it’s up to YOU to attend – NO excuses!!
Unfortunately I am really sad to say that due to poor attendance the Boxercise class has now stopped. I am really at a loss as to why this class wasn’t super busy as the instructor Sonia was ace, the classes were full of energy and had everyone that did attend working super hard. I kept it on the timetable much longer than I should have, hoping that the next week all the people that said they would attend would actually attend but unfortunately that didn’t happen.
Street Dance class with Popping, Locking and Break Dancing.
The instructor of this class is a young lad called Ben Brodie, you may have seen him performing with his crew The Unknown at various events. I am absolutely loving this new class at the studio, it’s cool, funky and he is a great instructor. Here is a clip of the routine he was teaching this Wednesday at the studio just click here.
This class is every Wednesday, 7.45 till 8.45 p.m. it is for anyone over the age of 15 and costs £5.50.
Zumba with Emily Bowen.

This class has been running for a while, but the numbers seem to be a little up and down at the moment, so I thought I would post this quick video so you can see just how energetic Emily’s style of Zumba is just click here.
This class is every Wednesday, 1.00 p.m. till 2.00 p.m. perfect for Mum’s whose kids are in school that can’t get out in the evening.

Step ‘n’ Tone

Good old Step, this style of class has been around for years, I can remember when I first started doing step and it was in my house with a Cher video, I had my boyfriend make me a step which was a wooden box. I absolutely loved that workout and did it so many times that I didn’t really need the video anymore as I knew it off by heart. Step has come a long way since back then, but it still is one of my favourite classes. It’s great fun, great choreography, burns calories and makes you smile – so why wouldn’t you want to give it a try?

This class is every Tuesday 10.00 a.m. till 11.00 a.m. this class is for the ladies that have dropped their kids off at school, so they can come straight to a class.

Beginners Pilates with Jan Picken Smith starting Tuesday 26th June, 11.00 a.m till 12.00.

I am very excited to have Jan come and teach at Break ‘n’ Spin as she is such an excellent instructor and has a great reputation. I am sure many of you already know Jan, as she has been teaching busy classes around Colwyn Bay and Llandudno for years. This beginners Pilates is going to start on Tuesday, June 26th and will be running every Tuesday and Thursday at 11.00 a.m. for 4 weeks. You can pay for these classes as a block booking for the 4 weeks which will get you a discount – so for all 8 sessions it will be £36.00, 4 sessions will be £20.00 but you can still drop in for only £5.50.

Recipe of the Week

This week’s recipe is one of my favourite soups, and is easy peasy because you just chuck everything in the slow cooker.

Broccoli Soup with Garlic and Olive Oil in the slow cooker.

2 bunches broccoli (about 3 lbs)
½ cup of olive oil
8 cloves garlic sliced (this sounds like a lot but it mellows beautifully with slow cooking)
2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme or ½ teaspoon of dried
6 cups of good quality vegetable broth
2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
salt and black pepper to taste
Cut off the broccoli florets and chop them, trim off the bottom 2 inches of each stem, peel them and thinly slice. Combine the broccoli, oil, garlic, thyme, broth & lemon juice in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
Puree the soup with a handheld immersion blender or transfer to a food processor or blender and puree in batches. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
Serves 6
