Hi all how are you?  Here is your weekly newsletter to keep you up to date with everything that is happening in the studio.

I had to share this picture above – I love the series Mrs Browns boys and when I saw this picture in facebook it made me laugh out loud so I am hoping it will make you laugh too!!

Wow July 4th already – lots of partying going on in America today – I do love a good party!!  I had a very chilled weekend, went to the pictures, caught up with some friends that I haven’t seen for a while which was ace.

I have some super exciting news though to share with you all, every where I go I hear the name Benjamin Owen mentioned and it’s the same for him.  We have been friends for a while now and often meet up to chat, we have also wanted to work together but as we were competition in business have never found a way until now!

We have decided to merge our talents and become one big formidable team.  Ben is the owner of FAST way to Fitness he is an outstanding trainer, fatloss expert and coach.  He works heavily with a lot of up and coming athletes around here and you may have read about his young star…………

As for his FAST way to fitness camps he always gets excellent results and as you already know I get amazing results with all the ladies that take part in my Bootcamp so as a team there will be no stopping us. We are determined to educate everyone on how to look after their health with good nutrition and keep themselves fit with fantastic training plans.

Ben set up his first location in Penrhyn bay in April 2011 and now has locations in Abergele, St. Asaph.
What is this going to mean for you? Well it just means that you will now be getting even better service, as two heads are better than one. You also get to choose whether you want to train outdoors or indoors.

So the Bootcamp sessions as you know them now are going to get even better – you are going to get even better value for money and of course even better results.  The very first one will be starting in August and I will be kicking off with a FREE week on Monday, August 6th.

Ben is going to be running an amazing 90 minute presentation tomorrow night so if you are free I would definitely recommend that you attend so you can learn exactly why we tell you to do certain things with nutrition.  Here’s what he says:

“In this session I aim to dispel as much of the BS you hear about nutrition and training, backed up with science and RESULTS! Not only will you find out the information but I will be sharing with you EXACTLY how to put it all into practice!

Class of the Week.

I am really pleased to say that the new legs, bums and tums class is going down a storm, this Tuesday was awesome and those ladies will definitely be seeing their bums rise and their tums flatten if they carry on working like that.

I keep mentioning the Adults Street Dance class with Popping and Locking that is every Wednesday and the reason is I get so many queries about Street Dance classes and yet this class is still not busy.  I have 1 more month to get this class full of people otherwise it will stop, so thankyou to the people that are already attending, but please everyone else that is thinking of coming – COME!!!

The class is Wednesday, 7.45 p.m. till 8.45 p.m. and is for ages 15 plus here is a video of the class click on this link and you will see a video

I have a brand new class starting this week – it is African Line Dancing and is Friday, 6th July, 7.00 p.m. till 7.45 p.m.

Recipe of the Week

This week’s recipe is from Claire Evans.  Claire creates easy to follow clean recipes that anyone can follow for super tasty food.  If you would like to know more of her recipes.

Moroccan Chicken with Sweet Potato Mash.

This is for 4, adapt as necessary.

• 1kg sweet potatoes , cubed
• 2 tsp ras-el-hanout , or a mix of ground cinnamon and cumin (if using
seeds, lightly toast first then grind)
• 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (preferably organic)
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 onion , thinly sliced
• 1 fat garlic clove , crushed
• 200ml chicken stock
• 2 tsp clear honey
• juice ½ lemon
• handful green olives , pitted or whole
• 20g pack coriander , leaves chopped

1. Boil the potatos in water for 15 mins or until tender. Mix the ras el hanout, or ground spices with seasoning, then sprinkle all over the chicken. Heat 1 tbsp oil in large frying pan, then brown the chicken for 3 mins on each side until golden.

2. Lift the chicken out of the pan. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 5 mins until softened. Add the stock, honey, lemon juice and olives, return the chicken to the pan, then simmer for 10 mins until the sauce is syrupy and the chicken cooked.
3. Mash the potatoes with 1 tbsp oil and season. Thickly slice each chicken breast and stir the coriander through the sauce. Serve the chicken and sauce over mash.

If you have too much mash, save it for the next day and make potato cakes (these can be frozen).
